The client is the third largest 2-wheeler company in India with a revenue of over ₹18,217 Crore. It has an annual sale of more than 3 million units and an annual capacity of over 4.95 million vehicles. The client is also the 2nd largest exporter in India with exports to over 60 Countries.

The Challenge

The company had a not-so-great dealer management application. The client’s dealers were dealing with performance issues in the current application. The client couldn’t upgrade the management solution as it was completely outdated. The cost associated with the enhancement was exorbitant too. 

Poor usability added salt to the injury for dealers who were already fed up with a below-par performance of the application. The client was looking for a partner that can design and develop modern applications for their dealers that are easy to use, rich in UX, and easy to upgrade in the future.

The Solution

After carefully listening to the client, we explained the legacy modernization services. The client was excited as they didn’t have to spend much money developing a new product but could redesign the existing application. We helped the client with legacy modernization and redeveloped the screens to help the dealers enjoy stress-free accessibility to data. 

Our strategy was to implement the solution using staged development with a waterfall methodology. As some dealers resisted change, we helped them realize the potential of modernization with multiple go-lives to try the solution in real time. This helped immensely, and the dealers were happy to use the new solution. The client was delighted too.
